Release the flavor

The territory

It is a flavourful road that links Rive D’Arcano with nearby San Daniele del Friuli, one of the region's best-known towns, famous worldwide for its traditional production of prosciutto. San Daniele has historical interest too, being home to the Biblioteca Guarneriana with its exquisite volumes, the oldest library in Friuli Venezia Giulia and one of the most prestigious in Italy. And just over an hour's drive will take you to Venice and its delightful lagoon, for a visit that’s bound to be truly unforgettable.

Indeed, the Bidoli winery lies in the very heart of the Friuli Grave DOC area, between the provinces of Udine and Pordenone, a place particularly suited to the cultivation of vines.

Protected by the mountains, the area’s characteristic gravel-rich soil combines with the beneficial effects of the Adriatic Sea to give high-quality production of both red and white grapes.

The added value of Bidoli lies in its freedom to select local grapes from an array of excellent growers; winemaker Arrigo personally seeks out the bunches that will be transformed and bottled in his winery, with meticulous supervision at every single stage.

Bidoli offers its customers only the best from every harvest, vintage after vintage.
